When the Patient is a Therapist: The Ethics of Treating Mental Health Professionals
Kelsey Hanlon, LMHC, Psychoanalyst

Personal psychotherapy and/or analysis is considered good practice in our field. As such, many psychotherapists and psychoanalysts find themselves with mental health colleagues as patients. Some even specialize in being a “therapist of therapists.” Given that we are a large patient population, why are the ethical challenges and gratifications involved in these treatments not discussed? Join us as we openly talk about what has been taboo in our field: our very selves as patients. Cost to attend will be $32.50 (full-time student rate is $16.25 with discount code “STUDENT”). Price includes all credit card processing fees.1.5 Ethics CEs are available.

Required reading will be available automatically via email following registration.
